Elizabeth Matilda JOLL

Elizabeth was born in 1854 in Guisborough, Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on May 1st, 1854.¹² Elizabeth's father was Rev John Maw JOLL and her mother was Mary Jane RICHARDSON. Her paternal grandparents were Digory JOLL and Martha MAW; her maternal grandparents were George RICHARDSON and Mary WILSON. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, Alfred, Lucy, Martha, Mary, Annie and Bertha. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers named John, Samuel, Watson and William. She died at the age of 68 in 1922 in Sowerby, Thirsk, Yorkshire, England.³
