Mary was born in 1820 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, England and her christening took place on April 30th, 1820.¹   Mary's father was George RICHARDSON and her mother was Mary WILSON.  Her paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had a sister named Lucy.  She was the older of the two daughters.  She died at the age of 75 on July 10th, 1895 in Sowerby, Thirsk, Yorkshire, England.  She was buried in Thirsk, Yorkshire, England.^2 3

  JOLL - On the 10th inst., at Mowbray-terrace, Thirsk, Mary Jane, widow of the late Rev. John Maw Joll, Wesleyan Minister, aged 75.  Memorial service at Thirsk Wesleyan Church to-day (Satuirday), 13th inst., at 2.30 p.m.: interment at Thirsk Cemetery at 3.30 p.m. No cards.
