Sydney Walter SHARPLEY

Sydney was born in 1900 in Stamford, Northamptonshire, England.¹ Sydney's father was William SHARPLEY and his mother was Lucy Anne HOLGATE. His paternal grandparents were William SHARPLEY and Mary Matilda JOLL. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, John, Winifred, Florence, Katherine, Gladys, Constance, Norah, Gertrude and Phyllis. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
