Robert was born in 1913. Robert's father was Cuthbert Henry MILNE and his mother was Elizabeth Jane WARD. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Walter, Rita, Douglas and Eva. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 87 in 2000.
